Bathrooms and shower rooms are special locations where electrical work must strictly follow the zone regulations of BS 7671. This service focuses exclusively on bathroom electrical fitting. We install extractor fans with combined heating/lighting, shaver sockets with waterproof covers, mirror lights or anti‑mist mirror illumination, electrically heated towel rails, and power connections for shower pumps and instantaneous water heaters. For enhanced comfort, we can also fit waterproof LED downlights, spotlights, and tape lighting. Every installation respects the zone boundaries – selecting appropriate IP‑rated equipment for each zone (0/1/2/3), placing sockets well outside Zone 2, and ensuring all metal items (pipes, radiators, metal baths) are effectively bonded to the supplementary earth. After completion, we test RCD operation and earth continuity and issue a bathroom electrical safety certificate. Your safety is our highest priority.
